Seedlings
3.5 – 6 Years Old
Our tamariki in seedlings are beginning their gentle journey toward school. Our Kaiako approach these years with love and understanding that everyone learns differently.
How do our tamariki learn?
to inspire...
“The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn”
– Maria Montessori
Provocations are experiences thoughtfully designed to stimulate the senses and invite imaginative learning, creativity, investigation, complex thinking and build confidence. Provocations are a gentle way to encourage our tamariki to learn for themselves.

Kalo
I have been in ECE for two and half years. As a mother of three, I value ECE and I continue to learn and add knowledge to my bucket each and every day. I believe children learn through play and as an ECE Kaiako, I am always there to facilitate learning through play for the tamariki under my care. I believe in providing them with provocative, exciting, learning opportunities to help them thrive through their childhood. My personal philosophy is based around relationships which I highly respect and value.
I am super excited to be part of Wild + Love. Please don’t hesitate to come and say Mālo e lelei to me when you see me around the village.
